Almond Bars, are they good !?
The bar is set high with this recipe! Gorge on awesome almond granola bars which are ‘Oh so Simple’ to make at home. Khaoge ek bar, banaaoge bar bar!
All you’ll need:- I pack of Fit & Flex Granola (Our recommendation: Happy Berries flavour)
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup of brown or white sugar
- 1 small cup chocolate chips (Optional)
Steps:
- Heat your oven to 350 degrees
- Line your oven tray with aluminum foil; bottom and sides and oil the foil slightly with a paper towel
- Chop 1/2 cup almonds and add them to the baking tray with your Happy Berries Fit & Flex granola
- Mix and spread them evenly in the tray and bake for 5 minutes Stir and bake for another 5 minutes until they are lightly roasted and transfer to a large bowl
- Take a quarter cup of butter and 1/3 cup of honey in a saucepan
- Add quarter cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and some salt
- Cook on medium flame and stir occasionally till the sugar completely dissolves
- Pour the mixture in the bowl of almonds and granola. Mix well and let it cool for 5 minutes
- Add a small cup of chocolate chips and stir to mix well (Optional. You can replace this with cut pistachios as well.)
- Transfer it all to the foiled oven tray and press the mixture with your hands to make it even
- Cover the tray with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 2 hours
- After 2 hours remove tray and gently remove the granola block from the tray
- Cut in to as many pieces as you like and enjoy
Fit & Flex Recommends:
Fair, it doesn’t last for more than a day! Oil the cup lightly before measuring honey so that it doesn’t stick while pouring. White sugar works as well as brown sugar. So don’t worry if you don’t have brown sugar.
